    This coach was used in the Crewe Works Test which was vacuum braked only. It was recorded as having a TOPS code QXA however. Was it dual braked before being added to the train and became TOPS QXX? Unfortunately you cannot quite read the TOPS code on the picture above.

    977081 Tops code is confirmed as QXX from Bob Wallace database.
