    This Thornaby set was seen at Derby RTC last weekend - anyone know why its there please?

    No idea why it is at RTC, but Thornaby depot is being run down. Traincrew have already moved into accomodation in Tees Yard, so maybe it'll no longer be a location for a BTU.

    Immingham about to be switched out too, but no BTU there now as far as I know.

    Ive been told:

    "ADB975482 & ADB975498 along with 80211 will be used in Derby station as temporary buffer stops. ADB975463 will not be used due to concern that it's windows will be smashed. 80211 has been repainted yellow all over with black chevrons on the gangway ends. I presume the BDVs will be dealt with in the same way."

    This is connected with the refurbishment works to the station roof.
