  971001 & 3 are now apparently here - due for Bescot ultimately. Both in a new BTU set with 975471. What this means for the old BTU vehicles isn't yet clear...

  With four recovery cranes (adrc 96710/13/14/15) but only (currently)two sets of vans (gen-staff-tool 3 car sets) this "new" set will be a welcome addition however despite all the mods over the years some of the fleet date back to 1955 vintage

  crane 10 and 14 at Knottingley with one set of vans

  crane 13 at Wigan

  Crane 15 at Bescot

  no crane in Wales
