  Interesting to see that this coach has 6-wheel LMS bogies - could this have been the last 12-wheel coach in service (Departmental or otherwise) within BR?

  There was apparently a sighting of it back at Quainton last August - can anyone confirm it has returned please? Andrew?

  It returned to Quainton back in 2004.

  I would invite readers to just look at its picture on the Vintage Carriages Trust.org site as externally restored as LNWR First Class sleeper No 112 of 1907 ! It sits at the platform in the Rewley Road Station building at Quainton Road and is still used as a lecture theatre and cinema coach. A credit to Quainton Railway Society and the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
