This wagon was regularly tipped over and righted/re-railed during training of breakdown crane crews at Toton.

There is a photo of 024500 on its side but not this one.
Again I think this photo was taken prior to it being allocated IU number so it looks as though it has suffered damage (derailment?) and then relocated to Toton as a training vehicle...

Fire damage?? Looks sort of melted like the tankers in the Summit Tunnel fire and also the tank body is all rusty which is a tell-tale result of fire

It's hard to tell if it's fire damage. It looks more like surface rust. It looks worse because 1/2 of the insulation from around the body is missing, giving it that "Just Knackered" look.
