We now have 999 registered users on departmentals.com - who will be the 1000th??! I probably should offer some sort of prize... please spread the word to anyone who may be interested or has anything to contribute.

Thanks to all who continue to contribute sightings, news and photos.

It is perhaps not quite as interesting 'scene' as it was when we set up the website in 2002 but the historical element remains popular and old photos are always welcome. The decline in regular loco hauled services may also mean new or renewed interest in current test trains and vintage traction and this may extend to the rolling stock - I'm not sure. Always good to hear comments though.

I've been particularly busy with other things this year but that is nearly over. I have tried to keep things up to date but if you notice anything please let me know.
