Interesting post, as without creating extra work for the admin team, a list of current individual vehicles would be about the 50 region and you could debate if a current formation/current fleet section would be of any benefit...

=====

Driving Trailers - 09 (05 Mark2 , 04 Mark3)

Generator Vans -05

PLPR coaches -04 (plain line pattern recognition)

Staff coaches/Brake force runners - 07 (add on vehicles to increase train length to meet brake force instructions/ LHCS formation speed restrictions)

Ultrasonic test cars -05

Structure gauging vehicles - 04

Inspection saloon - 01 (Caroline)

overhead line test car - 01 (Mentor)

electrification measurement car -01

(High Speed) track recording car - 01

Radio survey cars-02

De-icer cars- 03

Snow train car -01

Then unit wise

Sprinter 950 001 2 car track assessment unit

313 121 3 car etcs signalling test unit

New Measurement train - (03 hst power cars) with up to 06 trailers

----

not included the 3x 3 vehicle Breakdown Train formations - 09

Must of forgotten something from above list....
