This centre sandite coach usually works between 977939 and 977940 as part of unit 930301 but is sometimes replaced by de-icing coach 977364. On this occasion one of the driving cars has been replaced by a coach from revenue stock (in NSE livery behind.)

977870 is in the foreground next to one of the coaches from Thumper unit 205032. Unit 930301 with de-icing coach 977364 in the centre is visible in the siding behind. Also in this interesting view are two of the driving cars from Hastings green unit 1001 as well as the roof of a GBRailfreight class 66 loco!

the DT coach is from 205012 not 205032 and has since been scrapped I believe.

977870 was scrapped in July this year. It was the centre car from 205205 which was the only 'thumper' 'modernised' with strip lighting, new seats, etc. The other two cars from 2050205 have recently moved from NYMR to Epping and Ongar Railway.
