  I used to work in this yard. No company would own up to owning it.I was told it contained asbestos.

  This coach seems to have remained in the same position for at least 13 years! - still being in the same place on my visit in 2003 - see other photos on the site.

  I understand that this vehicle was set on fire by the locals back in early summer 2004 and badly damaged - a fate that befell 975797 (also at Heaton ECD) sometime ago. Both vehicles were scrapped onsite as they were then considered to be dangerous and understandably an eyesore
