As this is now a Network rail operated unit for test purposes, is it nominally based at Derby RTC on paper at least? Assume it operates mainly out of Willesden though. Can anyone confirm.

Hertford North on the Hertford 'loop' will have a 5 mile section for testing and this unit not expected to stray far from the carriage sidings at that station and test track when testing commences.

Hi Ben,
Unit 313121.
You show the PTSO on this unit as 71733.
On the original build is was 71233 and one of the recent site photos shows 71233.
Has it been changed recently or is it a typo error?
Best Regards - Tony

Typo I think. Should be 71233 as 71733 is a class 455 vehicle in use with SWT.
19 July 2013 - Ben Williams
Thanks. Now corrected.
31 July 2015 - Greg Hartle
Noted parked at the north end depot sidings, adjacent to and clearly visible from the mainline.

This along with 62459 & 62613 (set 313121) were offerred for sale by Network Rail in January 2023. Seemingly it was then located at the Asfordby test track in Leicestershire. Presumably somebody bought it or is it still there?
