I make this to be formally number M1307M. Which was an LMS P1 Third Corridor, built at Derby in 1925, to Diagram 1695, lot 95.

again no sightings since 2008! anyone update please? some scrappings have taken place here recently...

If you look at this picture https://www.alamy.com/the-grounded-body-of-fire-damaged-class-47-locomotive-47500-stored-around-the-back-of-the-west-coast-railways-depot-at-carnforth-image369490957.html you will see that between the two coaches, believed to be 4860 and 13323, behind the bodyshell of 47500 and in front of the OHLM coach (one of ADB975681/2/5/6/7/8) is a coach underframe. From what you can see of it, it looks to me very much like it has come from a LMSR coach. The only possible contender appears to be DM395812. Although it doesn't appear on a report of rolling stock seen during a May 2019 Carnforth visit an underframe "presumed" to be from ZDB975401 was seen. My suspicion is that what was seen was this as likely the underframe of ZDB975401 had by then been scrapped.

It is known that during 2021 on site scrapping took place at Carnforth in January and July, On visits subsequent to this date no underframes are listed as being present, thus possible that if this one is from DM395812 it actually survived until 2021.
