Carried ADW2592 when seen on 9th February 1983 at Liverpool St

Prior to entering Internal User / Departmental stock this was numbered W2592.
As far as I'm aware W2592 was initially taken into Departmental Stock for Internal Use at Stratford. It was thus re-numbered 041341 and confined to depot limits.
Its role in c1982 changed and it was used at Liverpool Street. For this use an Internal User number was not appropriate, so it reverted to its capital stock number of W2592 with Departmental Stock prefix AD.
c1986 its role again changed and it was taken back into Internal User stock at Stratford and acquired a new Internal User number of 041967.

When i saw it at Liverpool Street Station on 13/11/82 it was branded as a 'Lub Oil Storage Tank'.

remember seeing it tucked away at Liverpool Street when i started tgere in 1982, seem to think it was painted rail blue with yellow ends to the tank, when it went back to Stratford, it was still in the same livery, it carried the number as ststed of ADW 2592, i dont recall seeing an IU number applied to it.
