I believe the underframe from 977388 was sent to Marcroft Engineering in Stoke for further use and so the above date refers to the time the bodywork was removed.

Looking back this was a fascinating but also saddening time in the world of departmental stock! Amazing to see the long list above only covers a couple of years really... Thanks again to John and Ashley for their help at the time
