This unit was part of the Glasgow class 303/311 EMU's and was not part of the Sandite trains.

Yes it was an ex-class 311 but it was also a Sandite unit (hence the Railtrack livery) in set 936104 with 977847 and 977848.

Thanks for that Ben, I am a 4mm modeller and I am now making up the full unit - do you have any further pictures of when it was out on the roads?.
