    "The coach numbered 2758 was an ex-Metropolitan Railway T-stock motor brake second, it entered departmental service in 1960 as an electric sleet loco numbered either 118A or 118B, they also have another coach undergoing restoration in the shed numbered 2749.

    Both coaches were withdrawn from service as de-icing units by London Underground in 1990 when they were subsequently purchased for preservation on the now defunct North Downs Railway, near Dartford. Both were moved to Tunbridge Wells West (where the photo was taken on the 10th August 2003) when the North Downs Railway moved its entire collection of rolling stock to the Spa Valley Railway forming a merger."
