Roger Harris records this carriage as being probably cut up in October 1989 in his book 'The Storage & Disposal of BR Mark 1 - Mark 4 Coaching Stock (Volume 2). He lists a positive sighting of the carriage intact at Vic Berry's on 5 September 1989.

A lot of the disposal dates on here are based on scrapyard arrival dates. Obviously any cases like this they can be amended so things are more accurate.

A lot of the coaches arriving at Berry's yard were lifted off their bogies and placed in body stacks to await future breaking so it could be quite a while after arrival some were finally removed from a stack and broken up.
