I wonder whether there is still any sort of interior to this vehicle? It's possible that it was left in order to keep it weighted as a Mark 1 coach is it not?

They are almost empty shells with just the side and roof panels left in situ. The gaurds/luggage area contains the brake blending unit and the M/A set to provide power for the affore mentioned.
