I did wonder if this wagon could be 024303 with the first three IU numbers '024' and '298' possibly worn through from its previous identity of TDW298. However, there are a couple of sightings of 024303 at the Glos Warks in the late 1990s so this would appear to rule this theory out.

I was at Swanage Railway yesterday so this has come to my attention again!
I don't know where this entry came from - we don't have any details and only one sighting - feels like an error for something else? Nothing on VCT for this number.

If it helps, 024298 was a 22T Plate numbered B 932005 and was based at Horwich Works. Believed to have been scrapped along with most of the rest of HW's internal user fleet when the works closed.
