    Now the sole survivor of class 06. It was surprising that more of these didn't go for industrial service when their BR careers ended as Barcley shunters seem reliable and quite long lived in industry (D2432 ended up in Italy for its last years). 06003 (97804) moved to Barrow Hill Shed about autumn 2002.

    06003 is currently on hire from HNRC to UK coal at Widdrington CDP
