This coach is one of the few surviving ex mark 2B BFK coaches. Wonder what its purpose it is.....

was this coach formerly in the royal train and if so is hat the reason for the grey underframe ?

It was a Royal vehicle yes - 2906. Not sure when it was transferred from that fleet though - I think it was stored for quite a while...
