this is a trailer 2nd from hastings unit 1012, does anyone know if it still exists????

No its not. The number 977695 was allocated to Hastings trailer 60525 but the conversion was cancelled and the vehicle scrapped at Margam Gwent Demolition (arrived 2/92.)
The current 977695 at Eastleigh pictured here is converted from newspaper van 86438 / 94001. It does seem however that this van was used at times inside a former Hastings unit.

977695 was taken to Booth's, Rotherham for scrapping 19/12/2006

Now in the cutting area at Booths it doesn't look as though this will survive another week.....
