These two have recently been scrapped within the last few months after having some spare parts recovered from them.

Two questions - 1) Does anyone know what the original 5xxxx numbers of these two vehicles were prior to being renumbered 60200 & 60201, and 2) where these two vehicles were scrapped and by whom?

There's a handy search box in the corner, if you put in 977649 or 977650 all the answers will be revealed!!!!!

The other coaches off the 210 DMU saw use (after reformation) in electric unit 316 999

that ran with a pantograph trailer (71246) off 313 034

    67300 (ex 60300)-210 001

    67401 (ex 60401)-210 001

    71246

    67301 (ex 60301)-210 002

Three phase motors being fitted to the driving motors.

    210 001 was 60201 (53001),60401 (57001), 60400 (57000),60300 (50400)

    210 002 was 60200 (50300) -60450 (58000),60301 (54001)

    60200 had a Paxman engine

    60201 had an MTU engine

as the pantograph car off the 3 car 313 was used this left a srange 2 car "DC" only class 313 (034) that ran ATP tests on the Euston Watford lines before a small fire caused a works visit.

trailer coach off 210 001, 58000/60450 renumbered as 977645 "lab 6" before being scrapped

and today if you ride on South West trains unit 5912, trailer coach ex 210 002, 67400 (ex 60400/57000) takes the place of tso 71731.

The ex 210 trailer has also been included in units 5918 and 5920 over the years for various experimental work.
