Hello all, have we any photos and info on the rest of stock rescued and/or scrapped from the Pullman shed at Brighton. Have heard conflicting reports as to what IU vehicles were actually rescued and where they are destined. I also understand that Southern took the oppurtunity to push their GUV into the works for scrapping. Can anyone confirm this also.

Anything is greatly appreciated on this matter

All well documented in the Yahoogroup messages at the time! 083147 is now at G&WR - the only other vehicle covered by this website. Others were non-dep / IU.

GUVs 083632 & 083633 both scrapped on site

Thanks Ben. Only just discovered that the sorely missed website is back. Also was previously unable to gain access to the Yahoogroup though I have now joined. Good to see that the Brighton saga is now over!!! Keep up the work.

This van is a GWR Siphon G, departmental number ADB 975841, Ex. W 2943. Formally a "seat trimmings stores van".
