Serco's Test Car 5 ADB975422 was originally the BR Research Division's Lab 6 and was designed to carry a pantograph under 25kV OHLE and was fitted with insulators on the flat roof. It was initially based at Rugby although later transferred to RTC and was used in the development of the BR/BW high speed pantograph.
