  This one has now apparently moved from Long Marston to Doncaster Wabtec so presumably some further use may be in the pipeline....?

  you wouldnt need a Genny coach with that bigger ampage and voltage that big to test ETH on a lowly Mk4, that could done with a shore supply

  Wabtec have already used 57/3s, 67s, WCRC generator coach as well as diesel generator on a piggyback wagon (the last one) to supply ETS to the mark 4s undergoing refurbishment so one presumes an otherwise OOU generator unit should be a cheaper alternative.

  could it be that NASA want to use a MK4 to ferry stuff to the space station - plug it in to that Genny Van and it will get there in one go !!!
