News - NSE 'Snow Train' repaints

The two former NSE liveried snowblower support coaches have been repainted into yellow975464 formerly named "Ptarmigan" in its NSE days and 975486 (formerly "Polar Bear") have been repainted into the new Network Rail yellow livery and were seen outside the Hunslet Barclay works in Kilmarnock in their new colours in May 2003. At this time, however they were still branded with RAILTRACK lettering (see photo link below)
These coaches used to work with NSE snowblower ADB968501 and were based on the Southern Region at Stewarts Lane T&RSMD.
They made the trip north early in 2002 and have now undergone a full refurbishment.
