  Again this photo is taken before it received its IU number but useful for reference. Or maybe it never received IU number? Apparently scrapped with the crane ADW236 (061011) at East Lancs Railway but no more details or date available...

  There has been a mix up here on dates/locations.

  061012 was seen and photographed at the Allied Steel and Wire facility in Cardiff on 22/04/1987. It was without its crane. Note it carries an internal user plate but the number was obviously never painted on.

  There is a sighting reporting it extant at East Lancs in 2007?

  My records show it preserved with the crane to ELT in 1986, if it was photographed at Allied Steel and Wire I suspect in never went to the East Lancs and was used as an Internal User at ASW? Does not explain the sighting at the ELR in 2007 though!

  I also have a note that B746416 was written off TOPS in July 1987 but have no location for it.

  Yes this is a mistake - now deleted. I believe the other hand crane was mistaken for this one.
