This shows the unit on the day it headed back to Ilford depot after its period of testing based at Ramsgate. Since its arrival back at Ilford I understand the DC carriage has already been swapped with the AC coach (977979) perhaps meaning more AC testing is imminent?

I wouldn't get too emotional Sam, having commuted in these things on the GE whilst in revenue service, I'm glad to see the back of them! What little rail commuting I now do these days is confined to Clas 90 worked Mk3s and DVTs on the same route!
