The photo must have been taken c1975 as TDB968006 was only at Danygraig from December 1974 to November 1975. It still retained original BR green livery when delivered to Peak Rail at Matlock for preservation in 1986!!

Was originally numbered SI5705 in departmental service and it carried this number when I saw it in 1969.
14 June 2025 - Peter Kellett
1986-03-20 Derby station sighting - 968006 arrived from the Burton direction hauled by loco 56088 and dead loco 58036. In a drawn out shunting maneuver 968006 was finally deposited in London Road LHS.
